Learning in real life
The familiar moments are the meaningful ones.
A skill practiced at the kitchen table is already part of home. By learning within familiar surroundings, your child can practice in the same moments where that skill matters.
Everyday communication
Asking for help, a break or a favorite toy in familiar moments.
Play and connection
Playing together and practicing taking turns with family.
Familiar routines
Practicing the small steps of getting dressed and mealtimes.
Growing independence
Building confidence with everyday tasks around the home.
Social connection
Practicing ways to join in and connect with siblings and friends.
Moving between activities
Learning what comes next and practicing transitions at your child's pace.

Insurance
You focus on your child. We handle insurance.
Most of our patients have their ABA care covered 100% by insurance. Our team takes care of the insurance process, from checking benefits to coordinating approvals, so you can focus on your family.
Every plan is different. Full coverage is not guaranteed; benefits, authorization and any out-of-pocket costs depend on your individual plan. We confirm the details with you before care begins.
How we handle it
We check your benefits and work directly with your insurance company, so you do not have to figure it out alone.
We handle the insurance paperwork and authorization process, and keep you updated along the way.
Before care begins, we confirm your coverage and explain any deductible, copay or other out-of-pocket costs.
Questions from families
A little more clarity.
What happens when I contact you?
Call 786-471-3091 or share your contact details. Our team listens to what matters to your family, talks with you about your child and helps you understand insurance review, clinical assessment and the steps toward a treatment plan. Your first conversation is a place to ask questions.
Do you have a waitlist?
No, America ABA does not have a waitlist. We help your family move forward with insurance review and a clinical assessment, then coordinate your child's start date. Timing depends on completing these steps and any required insurance authorization.
What happens at the assessment and first session?
Your family attends with your child at home. No preparation is needed from your family. During the ABA assessment, your BCBA gets to know your child, listens to your priorities and assesses their individual needs. The first session introduces support shaped around your child's plan.
How do you support my child's comfort during therapy?
Children can take breaks when they need or request them and are offered choices about activities during sessions. If your child shows distress, our team pauses or adjusts the activity. Your family helps choose goals based on everyday priorities, so therapy stays connected to your child's real life.
How are parents involved?
You know your child best. You help choose meaningful goals, ask questions and learn strategies to use in everyday routines. We keep you as looped in as you would like. All parents have access to a parent portal with session information, progress, updates and recommendations.
How much therapy will my child need?
A BCBA makes individualized recommendations after an assessment. Tell us about your child's day and your family's priorities so we can discuss the recommended care, practical arrangements and questions together.
Where can sessions happen?
We provide in-home and in-school ABA therapy. We help you explore the right setting based on your child's needs, your ZIP code, school arrangements and availability.
My child does not have a diagnosis yet. Can I still reach out?
Yes. We connect families with our evaluation partners and help them understand the next steps toward care. Visit our Diagnosis support page to learn more and request help getting started.
Do I need to be home during sessions?
Family involvement is part of how we work. We will talk through what that looks like for your household when we connect.
Is in-home ABA available in my area?
It depends on your ZIP code and current availability. Send your ZIP in the form and our team will confirm with you.
Can my child also get support at school?
Possibly. School support needs coordination and permission from the school, so we confirm that case by case.
Let’s talk about your child.
Tell us what is on your mind. We are here to listen and help you find the next step for your family.
